If you don’t like an open-hook setup, DV8’s closed fairlead option is a clean upgrade for synthetic rope. It ships with its own pocket and has Delrin rash guards so it doesn’t get chewed up or scratch over time. It’s rated for an 18,000 lb working load limit and the install is quick with basic hardware.
