Is Halcyon Dive Equipment a waste of money in 2021? - Halcyon vs. AQOR

#doktorben #halcyondivesystems #aqor Most of the dive equipment, especially the BCD systems, made by Halcyon Dive Systems is great, but much more expensive than other brands, like Tecline, DIR Zone, Agir Brokk etc. However, their Backplates and Wings often are not very similar to Halcyon BCD's like the Halcyon Evolve 40. In this video I check out the new brand AQOR Dive Systems. Their BCD's are significantly cheaper than Halcyon BCD's but look extremely similar. But are AQOR BCD's as good as Halcyon? And if yes, does this make buying Halcyon Dive Equipment a waste of money in 2021 and can you get literally the same for a lower price? A short information for European customers: Actually there is one test due for the CE certification. That means actually AQOR wings can not be sold in the EU. This only applies to the wings. The backplates are fine by now.
