Spending 36 Hours in the Middle of the Ocean

Fishing offshore Florida in the deep sea of the Gulf of America for swordfish, grouper, sharks, and snapper with ​⁠@TTfue Alex Applefield, Turner Tfue, and myself ​⁠@DoctrParker all took his new boat a 43' Frontrunner catamaran with quad Mercury Verado 400hp v10s out of John's Pass in St. Petersburg, Florida where we went almost 200 miles offshore for an overnight fishing adventure! It all started out early Friday morning when we left dock after filling up with 1000 gallons of fuel. After a 4.5 hour ride out we dropped our first two baits in about 1600' deep water looking for a swordfish. Watching a rod tip and glorified bobber for hours isn't fun but we eventually hooked up and hand reeled the fish in from the depths! Throughout the night we caught a MASSIVE Tiger shark and then released it. The next day we chased tuna, snapper, and grouper.
