My ZR1 Makes Big Power on the Dyno!

I’ve been excited to get my 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 on the dyno to see what kind of horsepower it would lay down. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side — high heat and humidity definitely robbed us of some power. When I bought this ZR1 from Justin Keith at Killer Performance, it made around 1050whp on his dyno, but with the summer air, we knew we wouldn’t hit those numbers today. That said, we still managed to fine-tune the setup and get solid data. Shoutout to Matt Sanford, the go-to guy for diagnosing GM and Chevrolet check engine lights — he got the ZR1 running strong despite the conditions. We did hit a snag when the oil pressure relief valve stuck open, but Mr. White jumped into the tune and made adjustments to get oil pressure where we needed it during the pull.
