I bought the Dive Rite hard Goodman handle with my own cash money to test the CX3 lights properly. It’s a solid, lifetime piece of kit—once it’s set to your hand size, it’s stable and dependable. The tradeoff is it’s bulkier and adjusting for gloves takes a screwdriver.
Pros
- +Extremely durable and should last a lifetime of diving
- +Stable platform for a primary light with minimal wobble
- +Has mounting holes for clipping off with a double-ender
Cons
- -Adjustment requires a Phillips screwdriver
- -More annoying if you switch between gloves and no gloves
- -Bulkier to fit into a thigh pocket
