The Shearwater Tern TX is, in my opinion, the best entry-level recreational dive computer on the market right now if you want a pure dive computer and not a smartwatch. For a small jump over the original Tern you get the two big upgrades I care about—air integration and a tilt-compensated compass—plus that classic tack-sharp Shearwater screen.
