In Episode 53 we’re sitting down for our January Round Up and having a proper catch up on what we’ve actually been making. We share a big bunch of finished projects and all the works in progress that are keeping our needles (and hooks) busy. It’s very much a cosy “what’s on the go” episode with knitting, a bit of crochet, and those realistic updates we all need at this time of year. We chat through what we’re wearing as well—Linda’s Rowan Hem and June’s West Yorkshire Spinners Lyra—then dive into our finished objects. Linda’s been busy with a Hexagon Cardigan (in Sirdar Stories DK), plus fingerless gloves, the Betwixmas Cable Shawl in Stylecraft Special Aran, and some vanilla socks. June’s finished an Aldi ombré granny square blanket in turquoise and a super snuggly Scheepjes Furry Tales scarf. For WIPs, Linda’s got the Radiate Sweater (Joji Locatelli), a West Yorkshire Spinners Piper Cardigan, a Sedge Stitch Blanket in Aldi roving yarn, and more. June’s working on Stephen West’s Treasure Trove, a One Skein September Shawl, and a couple of blankets (including Mum’s), with some fun fluffy yarn choices along the way.
