What 200K Subscribers Really Means to Us

Hi everyone and welcome to our studio and our little celebration of our reaching 200k subscribers! We started our channel, Diane Antone Studio just before Christmas in 2019 with five videos. Those early videos are unnarrated and very simple, done while I built up my confidence of painting on camera. Gradually I started to speak and eventually reached the point in December 2020 where I first had the courage to say the welcoming words you’re used to — “Hi everyone, I’m Diane, and Welcome to my Studio!” Today I’m going to paint one of our most popular subjects, a wet-in-wet dragonfly, whilst interspersing the story of how and why we came to create our studio and to reach 200k subscribers.
