Hey guys, welcome to my back-to-school night-time routine for that “next morning glow up” (even though… I can’t lie, parts of this were a whole flop). I filmed this right before school prep in the UK, and it was basically a glow-up-with-me across the day: hair appointment stress, fixing my edges, a mini back to school haul, and then my actual night routine. I showed the bits I picked up like my usual school shoes (I literally get the same pair every year), short sleeve school tops, brow stuff, and facial waxing strips because I wanted to look fresh for the first day. Then we got into the real prep: I tried spraying my hair gold to match my braids and… guys, my scalp went yellow and I was actually fighting tears. After that I attempted waxing my brows/face for the first time and it HURT, but it did take some hair off once I figured it out. To save the night, I focused on what always makes me feel put together: skincare (double cleansing, toner, serum before moisturiser), a ginger turmeric facial scrub that makes my skin SO soft, and a face mask I use like a little treat every two weeks. Even when everything doesn’t go to plan, the takeaway is: clean skin, moisturised skin, and a tidy room will still have you feeling way more ready for school.
