Louisiana is a state like no other. It’s rich in history, culture, sights, sounds and smells; truly a unique place to visit! In this episode we boondock our way through this southern state while visiting several very different parishes. At Lake Charles we find ourselves giving thanks to all that have served in our military to make our lifestyle possible while staying at the Veterans Memorial Park. As we move east, we feel like we’ve entered a movie set while boondocking the swampy backwoods at Lake Martin. It’s here that we finally encounter our highly anticipated first wild gator! And, it wouldn’t be a proper visit to Louisiana with spending a little time roaming Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Much to our surprise, the town is very much alive during these covid times so we dive in and immerse ourselves in the sights, sounds and culture. We invite you to join our journey as we travel through Louisiana in this week’s video. We are the Suttons and we have decided to live full-time our 2005 Lance cabover camper and travel the country. This season we are traveling through several southern states in an attempt to have our first ever warm winter as snowbirds. In our episodes we like to offer you a realistic view of what it is like to live full time on the road in a truck camper, no holding back like other channels. It’s not all just beautiful views and sunsets, life on the road has many challenges that we like to bring to you every week.
