Caves, Lakes and Flats of Utah | DestinatioNow S.3 Ep.30

Our travels have led us out of California and hurrying to get to Texas for a wedding. Avoiding the summer heat as much as possible, we drive through the state of Nevada without stopping and into Utah before doing some exploring. We heard about the Timpanogos Caves, which have a lake deep inside, and took a chance to see if they were open. Unfortunately covid has the best of us again, but the hiking trail up to the cave is still a beautiful opportunity for us to stretch our legs for the day. We made a quick stop at the Wasatch campgrounds for the night to refill our water tanks and then hit the road again. This time we find ourselves driving through the overbooked Mirror Lakes campground without a reservation. Luck is once again on our side. Not only do we get a sweet campsite, but we get some pretty amazing tips from a communications expert. We close out this episode by settling down for the night on McCoy Flats BLM land to watch the sunset with some epic views. Thank you for watching this episode and we hope to see you again soon.
