Battle Born Battery Install & 8 Month Review | DestinatioNow

In this episode we are excited to upgrade our camper with 6 lithium Battle Born Batteries. Nick will walk you through the process he used for our installation, without any prior electrician knowledge. We actually melt down one of our brand new batteries due to a wiring issue, but Battle Born has our back and helps us not only warrantee our battery, but walks us through our mistake at midnight on a holiday! They have exceptional customer service to say the least and stand behind their product like no there company we’ve come across. Before our new battery install we were only able to boondock for less than a weekend with minimal power usage. After our new install we can run nearly every electronic we have (cameras, computer, external hard drive, vacuum, blender, coffee pot, etc.) for nearly 5 days before needing a re-charge without any solar assistance. Best of all, we can run our air conditioner straight off our batteries for several hours! Battle Born Batteries has given us a great peace of mind when we have to leave our dog behind on hot summer days and the confidence to boondock anywhere we want drastically improving our quality of life as full timers. We are the Suttons and we have decided to live full-time our 2005 Lance cabover camper and travel the country. This season we are traveling through several southern states in an attempt to have our first ever warm winter as snowbirds.
