In this review, I take a close look at the SMSL AO300, a compact all-in-one desktop integrated amplifier featuring a built-in DAC, headphone amp, Bluetooth, and HDMI eARC. Priced at $269, the AO300 uses an Infineon MA5332MS Class D amplifier and a Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC supporting up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256. I test it with an iPad Pro and Apple Music, driving KEF Q150 speakers, and share listening impressions using tracks from Robert Plant and Paul Simon.
