LINKS: https://designsbybrodhead.com This video was a bit of a reality check for me. I just got back from a 5 day trip and came home to 25+ Etsy orders waiting to be printed and shipped out, as well as 30+ Amazon orders. In this video I walk through what it actually looks like getting the print farm back up and running after being away — turning printers back on, catching up on orders, and trying to get everything out the door on time. On top of that, I also added a new printer to the setup, a Bambu Lab X2D Combo so I share a bit of the unboxing, setup, and first impressions while juggling everything else going on. This is pretty much the real day-to-day of running a 3D printing business from home — not just printing, but managing time, staying consistent, and keeping things moving even when life pulls you away for a few days. If you’re running a 3D printing business (or thinking about starting one), I hope this gives you a more realistic look at what it actually takes. I’m curious… how do you handle being away from your printers for a few days? Do you pause your shop? Let orders stack up? Or have a system in place to stay ahead? I read every comment, let me know!
