This is the WiFi version of the Aqara G5 Pro, and it’s the easier install if you don’t want to run Ethernet through walls or an attic. Just remember it’s not battery powered—you still need a place to plug it in—so you’re trading PoE simplicity for WiFi convenience.

- -Still requires a power cable (not battery powered)
- -More potential for WiFi-related stability issues than PoE
