Sweet home 3d
I used Sweet Home 3D to build and render the actual floorplan images that power my Home Assistant dashboard. The free version works, and there’s also a paid option, but either way it gives you the tools to draw walls, add furniture, and (most importantly) place lights so your “on” states look realistic.
Pros

Cons
- -Rendering takes time, especially when exporting an image per light
- -Can get involved if you go heavy on furniture and details
