Then I hook it up in my vehicle and walk through real use: reading my check engine codes (I pulled P0420 and P0430), pairing it with the Repair Solutions 2 app, and generating a report that explains what’s going on and why I’m not ready for emissions. After that, I jump into live data (coolant temp, fuel trims, O2 sensor readings, airflow, timing, and more), show how to erase codes the right way, and run workshop tools like the battery test and alternator test. Bottom line: it’s simple, easy to use, no subscription required, and it covers way more than a basic code reader.
