Here's your full skiing mode test between the DJI NEO 2 and the HoverAir X1 Pro Max, in a variety of configurations, both high-speed and low-speed test, and above 2,000m as well. Including plenty of crashes. Latest firmware as of December 19th, 2025, which puts the HoverAir X1 Pro Max on FW 8.2.7, and the DJI NEO 2 on firmware V01.00.0500. In this test I start off with speeds up to 55KPH (~33MPH), and as well as slower speeds, both on and off-piste. I then test how high altitude impacts the DJI NEO 2 in some non-tracking tests in both sports mode and regular mode. For DJI follow-me mode this is entirely with ActiveTrack and just the unit itself (no remote controller), and for HoverAir X1 Pro Max, it's also with purely the unit itself, and no phone or controller/beacon involvement. #Drones #DJI #DJINEO2 #HoverAir
