Udemy and Skillshare are both websites where you can post online courses for free in order to make passive income. Both are what I would call a "slow burn." Checkout Skillshare; you get 2 months for free (and I get $10 full disclosure) https://davidutke.com/skillshare Long term, both platforms are excellent places to build a side income. Sure, there are some instructors making a full time income but that's a small minority. Instead, set a goal to build it up to something on the side. Just think how helpful it would be to even be making $200 a month which is totally possible. Which one is best? Depend on the type of content you want to make. Udemy is a bit saturated now and it's difficult to get exposure to your courses if you don't already have an audience. So go into Udemy knowing you'll have to do a lot of the promotion. Skillshare on the other hand does a much better job of providing exposure to new creators but is more limited in terms of their course topics. Also, create more than one course for each platform. While there are numerous instructors who create a handful of superstar courses, results for the rest of us come typically from having a portfolio of courses. To conclude the earning potential for Udemy and Skillshare is real. Digital Nomad Girl, Louise Clare makes 10K a month from selling on Udemy. Dale, of "create a pro website" has an amazing course on iPhone photography and makes close to $10K a month combined income from Udemy and Skillshare.
