It's time to make an online course. In this Teachable vs Podia online course creation tutorial, I break down both of these course creation software tools to find out the various pros and cons. https://davidutke.com/teachable I ended up going with Teachable personally, but both are good and I like things about each. TEACHABLE PROS - Excellent checkout process. - I love that you can set a "thank you" page for students who buy your course. - I really like the hero image and video feature of their sales pages. - I like how your course "feels" like a standalone product. TEACHABLE CONS - Their sales page design is average. They could improve this aspect. - Their actual course player is good, but the text is too wide and small. You can't easily customize this. - The back end of Teachable is super confusing. It has a learning curve. PODIA PROS - Beautiful storefront design. But as I will be designing my own /courses page this is not something I personally would use. - Built in email funnel capability. You can add a form to your store front or product page to help send people down a funnel to help closes sales. - The back end of using Podia is easy and intuitive. PODIA CONS - The header and footer must be white. - The checkout process uses a light box which i don't like at all. - Your products don't feel like standalone products if that makes any sense. ▬▬▬ 🔥 T O O L S ► Checkout Teachable: https://davidutke.com/teachable ▬▬▬ ✅ R E L A T E D V I D E O ► Make a UDEMY course - step 1 to done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYQigAQCsgY ▬▬▬ S U B S C R I B E 🔔 Hey I'm David.
