Well setting a custom domain with Wix was a bit more involved than I expected. So much so I decided to create a tutorial on how to do it. Get your domains at Namecheap: https://davidutke.com/namecheap If you have a website that is hosted by Wix and want to get your custom domain name, it can be done with Namecheap. First, make sure that the domain is available to buy. If so, go ahead and purchase it from Namecheap. Next, log into your account at Namecheap and click on the domain you want to edit. You'll need to keep the DNS to your registrar's basic DNS. Then you'll have to add in an A Record and a CNAME record. Click save, and simply wait. Once everything propagates you'll have a custom domain and an SSL secure website. ▬▬▬ RESOURCES ► Get started with Wix for free, upgrade when you're ready: https://davidutke.com/wix ►Get your domains at Namecheap: https://davidutke.com/namecheap ►How to make a website and blog with Wix: https://youtu.be/O5hup39TIkw 00:00 Intro 01:12 Update Nameservers (Kind of Works) 03:36 SSL and a Custom Domain 07:06 Conclusion DISCLAIMER: This video and description contain affiliate links when possible, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I may receive a small commission.
