Blogger.com vs WordPress.com - Which is Best?

As a good follow-up to my previous tutorial on how to make a website with the WordPress dot com website builder, it's finally time to compare it to blogger. A free blogging platform owned by Google. In general these two are seemingly the same because the free plan for WordPress is similar to blogger, but in reality they are quite different. First WordPress uses their free plan as a way to get you in the proverbial door to upsell you on a more premium package. Last, you're stuck using a sub-domain of WordPress as well on the free plan which is not viable for anyone serious about having a website. Blogger by contrast is simply a free blogging platform. There are no plans to upgrade to with Blogger. In addition, you can get a custom domain name from Namecheap https://websitecreativepro.com/namecheap and get your own personalized website setup. If you do decide to upgrade WordPress, you'll need their expensive business plan at 25$ a month to install plugins like Yoast SEO or Pretty Links.
