Pokémon Infinite Fusion is one of those fan-made projects that Nintendo should absolutely be stealing—because it’s basically classic Pokémon, but with DNA splicers that let you fuse any two monsters together. That means mixed stats, types, abilities, and moves… and hundreds of thousands of combos. In this video I break down where to get it (big disclaimer: the only legit place is the Infinite Fusion Discord) and what handhelds you can realistically play it on. I walk you through a Steam Deck setup first: grab the files, install ProtonUp-Qt, add the latest GE Proton, run Wine once, then add the game.exe to Steam and force compatibility. In gaming mode, controls are already mapped well, and they even put speed-up on L1—just know it can get a little frame-skippy when you crank it. After that, I show the Android method using JoyPlay + the RPG Maker plugin, how to add the game.exe, and what to do if your buttons map weird (it can vary by device). Finally, for tiny Linux handhelds like the Miyoo Mini-style devices, I explain why there’s no official support—and the best workaround is GBA ROM hacks like Ultimate Fusion, Fusion 3, and Fusion Origins.
