Losing friends is hard. Holding onto people you can’t really trust is even harder and more mentally, emotionally draining. Whats happening right now, isn’t normal politics. It’s fairly obvious that things have shifted. Life is too short. The world is conscious enough now that I don’t really feel that I sacrifice much by releasing the friendships I can’t be fully present and vulnerable with. That’s what I choose for my life for the very short amount of time I am here. Someone once told me that my political views would change once I: grew up/made more money/owned assets etc. I Keep checking things off and finding i just get more empathetic the more I gain. Woulda thought? Anyway, were you nice to yourself this week?
