In this fifth episode of the Pinball Machine project, we finally dive into the core of the new table — a completely redesigned build featuring colored playfields that give the flipper a truly professional and eye-catching look. Every section of the surface has been carefully planned, with new lighting points, transparent inserts, and dedicated areas for all the mechanical components. 🔧 Upgraded Ball Counting System One of the biggest improvements in this episode is the new ball counting mechanism. A combination of sensors and levers now allows the system to detect only one ball at a time, automatically blocking the previous one to prevent errors. It’s a major upgrade in reliability and precision — a custom-designed solution built entirely from scratch. 💥 New Ball Launcher with Return Chimneys The ball launcher gets a full redesign too, now featuring custom “chimneys” that guide the ball back perfectly onto the playfield. The system blends power and precision, using a combination of metal parts and 3D-printed components for a strong yet refined mechanism. 🧩 Assembling the Second Half of the Machine This stage covers the full assembly of the second section of the pinball, including flippers, bumpers, sensors, and lighting. It’s the moment when the project truly starts to look like a real arcade machine — every component finally comes together and the playfield starts to take shape. 🏆 Custom Score Targets Finally, I design and produce the custom score targets — small pieces of functional art that combine design and purpose, essential for the scoring system and for giving the flipper that authentic, professional arcade feel. 💡 A packed episode full of upgrades, testing, and clever engineering that brings me one step closer to the final goal: building a fully working pinball machine entirely from scratch!
