Definitely not entirely though- there is a physical aspect. But the physical aspect lies within what our hands can input on our controllers. We can all agree the physical aspect doesn't call for much natural talent. And the level of perfection for this isn't anywhere near as demanding in Ultimate than it is in Melee. That being said, the mental aspect in competitive Super Smash Bros Ultimate becomes that much more impactful toward the outcome of a tournament game. What I discuss in this video is a type of mind game, which requires a good awareness of the mental play that goes on in a competitive setting to understand why this works. If you and your opponent keep using new options to counter each other's moves. Will the initial option you originally started with eventually become a counter to what your opponent is doing now? From what we analyze in this video, in some cases, this is correct and surprisingly effective.
