Ultimate, it wasn't too long to discover the Instant Tether Trump or Instant Tether Ledge Grab advanced technique that worked for Toon Link, Young Link and Lucas. It was probably dismissed quickly because it seemed like it wouldn't work well on the surface, and the idea of trumping in Smash Ultimate wasn't so appealing at the start of the game. It turns out though, despite the buffs to ledge options and frame data to get around ledge trumps, they are still very potent in this game.
