I bought the EXOTON S-1503 to see if it’s actually worth the hype (or the hate), and I tested it in my Speaker Wars setup. It can get loud for the money, but once you push it, the highs get piercing and the sub gets muddy—so I don’t consider it a real DJ wedding speaker.

- -High end gets very bright and piercing at volume
- -Sub becomes muddy and washes out when pushed
- -Bare-bones controls and one shared volume knob for multiple sources
- -Build feels light/cheap compared to pro systems
