One Month Later.. £200 Mountain Bike Challenge (Part 2)

Over the past 4 weeks, I’ve challenged myself to ride this cheap (£200) 15 year old hardtail in a bid to reset my bad riding habits – caused by years of leaning on modern geometry and suspension. In this video, ill share the results of my experience and try and convince you as to why doing a similar reset may bring a breath of fresh air to your riding! Do you have any more challenges for me? Please let me know in the comments below! Why is there stone spray paint on the bike? In the last video, I said id reveal what this stuff on the frame is; so when I put this bike together a number of years ago to commute on, it actually looked a bit too good. I did notice people looking at the bike when parked in the city centre. So unforgivably, I decided to spray the bike with this stone textured paint to make it look far more battered and worthless than it actually was. I do believe this primitive form of theft deterrent has been effective thus far – and was probably less damaging than my past methods of rapid weathering the bike (probably best left for another video 😃).
