GF Low - why is it so difficult? We understood now that GF Low is the one that defines where to do the first stop on the ascent, but no one wants to tell anyone where to set it. Why? When setting the GF Low, we have to take into account that maybe on our first stop, just the fastest tissues desaturate, while medium and slower tissues are still ongassing. And this is what makes it so difficult: Stopping deeper might stop the bubble formation, but if it leads to a higher saturation in other tissues, bubbles may form out of these tissues later. And unfortunately, this field is still full of insecurities. By Veronika Sievers, Punkfish Academy http://punkfish-academy.com
