About This Video

In this video, I’m doing an initial review of the Lenovo AI Smart Glasses that showed up at CES 2026. And I want to be super clear up front: this is not a finished product and you can’t buy it yet. There’s no confirmed release date, so everything I’m sharing is based on early demos, concept showcases, and the confirmed details Lenovo has put out so far. This is more of a reality check preview than a full “real-world” review. That said, the design is genuinely impressive. Lenovo managed to make them look close to normal eyewear, and at around 45g they should be comfortable for longer wear. Feature-wise, Lenovo is going all-in on AI—live translation, image recognition, notification summaries, and even a teleprompter mode that honestly could be useful for work or travel. The big catch is they rely on a connected phone or PC, so they’re not standalone and not as futuristic as the marketing might make you think. Battery is expected around 8 hours (decent, not groundbreaking), and the display/hardware still sound basic—more heads-up display than true AR. Bottom line: not worth it right now because it’s not even available, but it could be promising if Lenovo actually ships a polished final product.
