I’ve taken it, and for around $250 it’s one of the best affordable ways to get real hands-on experience and learn hacker methodology (you’re in a lab, answering questions by actually hacking). Next is CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) from EC-Council—more expensive (around $1,200) and more “book knowledge,” but it’s a strong resume keyword that employers search for. Finally, OSCP from Offensive Security: extremely technical, grueling, and not something you should chase right away. Build up gradually, practice on platforms like Hack The Box, and only go for it when you’re prepared—because it’s a serious time and money commitment.
