In my Telegram review, I focus on the reality behind the hype: Telegram is incredibly fast and feature-rich, but most chats are cloud chats where Telegram holds the keys. If you use Telegram, you need to treat Secret Chats as mandatory for sensitive conversations and use a VPN to reduce IP-based metadata exposure.
