Create the Glow of a fireplace with markers! The "fireplace effect" isn't just the fire; it's the warm light the fire casts on its surroundings. Coloring the Objects: Use warm, glowing colors (yellows, oranges, and light reds) on the objects and fireplace walls immediately surrounding the flame. Color Progression: You need to work from the hottest part (lightest) in the center, out to the cooler parts (darkest) at the edges. Closest to Fire: Use the same pale yellow or light orange you used in the outer flame. Further Away: Transition this yellow/orange glow into the color of the object (e.g., if the fireplace stones are grey, the yellow glow should blend into the grey).
