LALA is an LA-2A style opto compressor that I use when I want gentle, slow leveling—smoothing a performance rather than smashing it. It’s brilliant for beginners because it’s basically Peak Reduction for compression and Gain for makeup. Like FETish, it also includes external sidechain and sidechain filters you don’t always get even on paid versions.
