I used FabFilter Pro-MB in this video because it lets me demonstrate pretty much every major type of dynamics behavior in one plugin—compression and expansion, upward and downward. It’s not the cheapest dynamics processor, but the flexibility (especially with the range control) makes it a brilliant “all-in-one” tool for learning and for real mixes.
