In this video, I’m working through @SarahRenaeClark’s Color Cube #4 and doing a bright, rainbow-focused swatch session with BLICK watercolors. The whole point here is to take those ready-made palettes and actually see how they translate onto paper—because a palette can look perfect in a book, but the real magic (or the real problems) show up when you swatch and start pairing colors side-by-side. I focus on getting a clear feel for the range and harmony of the colors—how the hues shift, how they sit next to each other, and what kind of vibe they create when you keep the palette “as-is.” If you’re trying to build better color confidence, this is exactly the kind of exercise that helps: swatching intentionally, comparing saturation, and seeing where you might want to push contrast or soften transitions.
