Mass Make March Day 3… Making Specimen Cards Using Only Paper Punches

Hey hey It’s Day 3 of Mass Make March 🤍 Today I’m making some beautiful specimen-style ephemera for my stash. These little specimen cards were made using only paper punches — no dies at all. That means you can easily recreate them in any size using the punches you already have in your craft room. I love how simple this technique is. By layering circles, labels, textures and a little gauze you can build up that vintage field notes / natural history look that works so well in junk journals. For the butterflies I’ve used the gorgeous Flutter Fusions 4 digital kit from @arthousewhimsy23 which is honestly one of my favourite kits of Tracy's. The colours and details are perfect for specimen-style pieces. I also use some specimen labels of @TracieFoxCreative Mass Make March is all about building your stash of ephemera, so when you come to make journals later in the year you already have lots of beautiful pieces ready to go.
