Learn how to make a delicious biscuits and gravy casserole with this easy-to-follow recipe. This classic Southern dish is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner, and is sure to become a family favorite. The combination of flaky biscuits, savory sausage gravy, and creamy eggs is a match made in heaven. This can be made the night before, and re-heated in the oven the next morning. What are you adding to this casserole? What you'll need: -2 cans homestyle biscuits. -6 eggs scrambled. -1 cup shredded smoked gouda cheese. -1 lb breakfast sausage. -2 cups whole milk. -2 tbsps butter. -1/4 cup AP flour. -1 tbsp all purpose seasong. How to make it: Gravy: Cook sausage all the way through. Add butter and seasoning. Add the flour and cook through for a minute or so. Pour in the milk, stir until thickened. Casserole: Cut the biscuits into 4ths. Pour the gravy in a large baking dish. Add the eggs over the gravy. Spread the cheese over the top. Place the biscuits on top. Heat your oven to 375F. Bake the casserole for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve and enjoy!
