This is the XMing Episode One (Xmini Project One) I unboxed and tested in the video. For around €199/$199, it’s a compact 1080p Google TV projector that makes the most sense as a bedroom setup for series, USB media, or casual console use—just don’t expect a full TV-level image.
Pros

- +Autofocus and auto scaling help with quick setup
- +Compact and easy to put away
- +Tripod thread makes positioning simple
- +USB playback for local media
Cons
- -Brightness and image quality improve a lot only with lights off
- -Not a “proper TV” experience (blacks/colors/immersion)
- -Some small UI/input delays, mostly on startup
- -I’d like better control over image size
