With Hudson Borgmeyer and Tyler Davis, they’ve got two reliable players who can dominate both on the mound and at the plate. This team doesn’t seem to have a real weakness, and their easy-going chemistry makes them an early pick for many to win the $1000 prize. But favorites still have to prove it when the pressure hits — and now it’s time to see if they actually can. For the Wolves, it's the league’s two “Unc’s,” Matthew Zuppardi and Chandler Sartain. They’re the oldest duo in the tournament, and with that comes experience, but also plenty to prove. These two aren’t typically the go-to pitchers on their Blitzball teams, and this format will force them to figure things out on the mound fast. No one questions their hitting ability, but if they can’t settle in as pitchers, they risk becoming the running joke of the league.
