Welcome back to Part 6 of JMT experience. In this episode we'll cover our Days 10 & 11. Starting off on the south side below Muir Pass and descending down to one of the most beautiful sections of the JMT to then move up the Golden Staircase eventually stopping at Upper Palisade Lake. The Golden Staircase was beautiful but very difficult (at least for me!). On Day 11, we hit Mather Pass pretty quickly then a nice descent down to the valley and back up toward Pinchot Pass. Two passes were not easy! But the descent down to the Woods Creek Crossing was beautiful and we spent a nice night there with a few other hikers. Day 10: Below Muir Pass to Upper Palisade Lake 15.90 Miles 3,262ft of Elevation Gain Day 11: Upper Palisade Lake to Woods Creek Crossing 20.81 Miles 3,641ft of Elevation Gain
