The John Muir Trail – Part 5: Perfection on Trail (San Joaquin River → South of Muir Pass)

Welcome back to Part 5 and Day 9 on the JMT! What a day it was. This is by far the most beautiful day and my favorite day on trail. Walking through the Evolution Valley, Evolution Lake, Sapphire Lake, and Wanda Lake was absolutely stunning. Then coming down the south side of Muir Pass added to the already amazing day!
