Make a jet-black margarita without activated charcoal. In this video I show how to safely color a black Halloween cocktail using cuttlefish (squid) ink—bold look, clean flavor, and no gritty texture. Great for spooky parties, goth cocktails, or Día de los Muertos. Halloween Black Margarita (aka Black Margarita) • 2 oz / 60 ml blanco tequila (I used Espolòn) • 1 oz / 30 ml lime juice • 0.5 oz / 15 ml Cointreau • 0.5 oz / 15 ml agave syrup (or simple) • ¼ tsp cuttlefish/squid ink Shake with ice, then open-pour over fresh ice.
