This is my entry to the Seth's Bike Hacks Contest. Dig the original song I used for this video. "This is my bike the Cobra Cruiser. It was an inexpensive project bike I bought for 100 bucks to have something to wrench on, and I have to admit…it’s pretty bad ass. It literally takes this guy’s breath away when he gets a glimpse of it, and this guy even felt compelled to flash me! It’s the perfect bike for social rides, pub crawls and even commuting to work, but you couldn’t use this bike on the trails right? I mean it’s a 1995 Schwinn Cruiser Deluxe 100th Anniversary. It’s a single speed with a coaster brake, and weighs a whopping 67 pounds! It does have a springer fork, and these mountain bike tires I slapped on, so it’s now technically a trail beast! You’d have to be completely mad to try and ride with the mountain bikers. Well….only one way to find out. This is something I’ve always wanted to try, and when I heard Seth was giving away a brand new Diamondback I said “no friggin way I’m missing this opportunity” I’m a 6’ tall lanky ex mountain biker who sold his mountain bike a few years ago to fund other things in life. It was a hard decision, but never gave up riding all together. To win this bike would change my life! I’ve been itching to go hit the trails again, but don’t have the funds right now to get a good mountain bike, but this isn’t meant to be a sob story. This is a celebration of the bike I currently have. I saved this bike from rotting away in a lady’s garage. I spent weeks cleaning it, fixing old and worn out parts, and removing all the surface rust it had collected in the last 22 years. I love to work on and maintain my own bikes, and this Diamondback would be no exception. I’m out biking every single chance I get, so believe me when I say, this bike is gonna get a lot of love. I live in Texas, and as the old cliché goes, everything is bigger here…Including the trails. You need to come ride out here Seth. Every time I meet a fellow cyclist they tell me of a new trail system or park that I have to go shred. With this Diamondback I could finally go explore all these new places. So from a long time subscriber and fan, please enjoy these clips from McAllister park in San Antonio. If you want to see a grown man weep tears of joy, please pick me for this prize. Thanks for watching!" -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- I Quit YouTube? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPQHiiuFQQc -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
