Launched in 2004, the Wrightbus Commuter was intended to fill the gap between an accessible low-floor bus and a high-floor coach for longer interurban services. The design never took off, with only four being built. In issue 1498 we take a look at one of the remaining Commuters, now in service with MP Travel, and consider some of the alternative wheelchair accessible options.
