Open Day | First South Yorkshire

To mark the depot's 60th anniversary, First Sheffield’s Olive Grove depot opened its doors on Saturday 22 August 2021 and held a family fun day. Modern and heritage buses were on show, and there were children's activities, trips through the bus wash, and depot tours available. Visitors with a valid UK car licence were able to experience driving a bus around a specially laid out course. The depot, originally known as East Bank, has a capacity for over 150 buses and was officially opened on 2 May 1961. The event raised over £4,500 for local charity St Luke's Hospice.
