In early September, the bi-annual Young Bus Professionals conference took place in Cambridge, with delegates having the chance to have a closer look at the city’s guided busway operation as well as hear from experienced industry figures about their experiences. The event was based at a hotel alongside the relatively new section of the Busway which connects to Cambridge North railway station, served by frequent buses to and from the city as well as to St Ives via the Busway. Services are operated by Volvo BZL electrics and tri-axle Alexander Dennis Enviro400XLB Volvo B8L double-deckers.
