Do You FORGET to arm your alarm? Here's how to enable passive arming and door locking on a Compustar alarm system. Once enabled it will arm by itself within 30 seconds when all doors are closed. MAKE SURE the alarm is DISARMED first before trying to program a CM6000-7000 or it will show "FAIL". If you want to sit in the car after opening a door, keep the car running, or turn the key to the ON position and then take it out to prevent passive arming. You can also just keep a door slightly open. It will only arm when all doors are closed. On the CM6000-CM7000 you will have to program the feature before it allows you to enable passive arming, which I show later in the video. ⚠️ DISCLAIMER: Use of the information in this video is solely at your own risk.
