Freshen Up Friday is a short, focused cleaning routine designed to refresh your home before the weekend. Rather than deep cleaning, it concentrates on quick wins and visible results, helping your space feel tidy, welcoming, and easier to relax in — even during busy weeks. The idea was popularised by Mrs Hinch, who encouraged a light Friday reset to make weekends calmer and more enjoyable. Her approach of achievable, time-limited tasks has inspired many people (myself included!) to adopt Freshen Up Friday as part of a regular weekly routine. I also use the flylady cleaning system to manage my home and to keep my sanity, and I'll be sharing the little cleaning hacks and house cleaning tips thats I've learned from using the Flylady system to motivate me to speed clean my house, and enable me to have fun while doing the cleaning.
